Zombucks – What are they?
Zombucks is the in game reward system that WickedNinjaGames uses. A lot of thought has gone into the implementation of this. We felt that it should not be an enforced idea, and it should not affect your gaming experience detrimentally, but rather used by the player to give them a hand up when they really need it. Or to remove some of the grind. Therefore everything is doable without spending a penny.
Types of Currency
There are two different types of currency in our 7 Days servers :
Zombucks are our in game currency. This type of currency is not a physical item. Therefore is stored in your digital wallet.
Most importantly, Duke tokens are a lootable physical item that you will find in POI high value caches. Or from zombie drops and general looting. So get pillaging.
Where do I get some Zombucks?
Let’s start with Duke Tokens. These can be found sometimes on dead zombie bodies. By looting bags and furniture found in abandoned houses. Or in point of interest, inside high value item caches or loot rooms. Dukes are physical items and as such can be lost when dying, or stored in storage boxs at your base. Our traders will allow you to buy from them with these.
Zombucks are different. You will earn Zombucks by killing zombies. That’s right, you can gleefully murder the undead while getting paid for it. What could be better? You will get 1 zombucks per zombie killed, and this goes up if you have purchased a WNG supporter rank for 7D2D. Therefore sweet sweet victory will reward you handsomely.
I’m all in, where do I spend my hard earned cash?
There are two types of shops in the world. Firstly the trader and secondly the Zombuck’s store! The former is a physical store with an NPC trader. While the latter is a command based kit system. You may also exchange your Zombucks for Duke tokens at a 2:1 ratio. So if you exchanged 50 Zombucks, you are awarded 25 Duke tokens.
What can I buy with my currency?
The two methods of purchase compliment each other well. Firstly the kit shop is consistent. Secondly it is always offering the same thing, never running out of stock. Whereas the trader is stocked randomly, but may have some really nice weapons or tools that the kit shop does not. So the ability to trade Zombucks for Dukes is quite nice.
