ASA Server Rules
Our ASA server rules have been created as required, we would like to think explicit rules for every aspect of the game are not required.
The only reason we have rules in place is to enable the player experience to be the best for everyone involved. We have valid reasons for each rule. They are non-negotiable.
If structures are not moved when asked your structures will be destroyed.
Arguing with a Team Member about an enforcement decision will result in a ban. Suck it up, learn to play and co-operate with others and add value to the community.
Our rules on Discord apply to chat in-game
Please conduct yourself in the appropriate manner in chat.
Don’t be a dick
Use some common sense and courtesy, treat others as you would expect to be treated. Keep it friendly and constructive. Disrupt the community we are building and you will be removed from it.
Consider others when building
If you can see another base think about your neighbours and carefully consider if you should build near them. The impact of multiple large bases in close proximity effects both your local FPS and the server load. Not to mention having players building right on your doorstep can be problematic.
If we get a ticket and determine you have built to close you will be asked to move.
Don’t tame cave dinosaurs
Some dinosaurs in caves on DLC maps are not correctly flagged as cave dinosaurs, they are above standard wild dinosaur max levels (150 to 190), these should not be tamed.
Note: Achatina and Dung Beetles are excluded from this rule.
Selling Dinosaurs
To maintain the economy of the cluster and reward our breeders we have a few rules. These particular rules were set by the community:
- Domination Rexes should not be sold to anyone under level 155
- Minimum sale price on non-mutated tames is The Emporium price (Level 224 and above)
- Minimum sale price for mutated tames is the price provided by the price calculator
- Sale of tames that are not neutered, you must expect them to be bred and resold no matter what the buyer says
Don’t block access to POI’s
No blocking access to major resources, Artefacts, Explorer Notes, Runes, Charge Nodes, City Terminals, Orbital Supply Drops, Teleporters, Mission Terminals or Points of Interest etc. it ruins other peoples gameplay experience.
Keep player spawns clear
Avoid building on player spawns, if you do inadvertently build into a spawn area, players who spawn in your base must be able to leave easily.
Remove traps and temporary structures after use
Littering the map with structures that could interfere with other players gameplay is inconsiderate, and annoying.
Soul Trap titans on Extinction after use
Soul Trap titans on Extinction after use, keeping titans out on Extinction will block other players from summoning the bosses.
Don’t popcorn items onto the map
Dumping 100’s of items onto the map hurts the server.
