An up-to-date ASA release schedule for ARK: Survival Ascended DLC and major content planned for 2026 and beyond.

ASA Release Schedule 2026 – 2027

2026	ARK: Survival of the Fittest	Free Mode	A refreshed competitive Survival of the Fittest mode being developed by Studio Sirens.
December 2026	ARK: Dragontopia	Paid Expansion	A non-canonical mythical expansion focused on dragons, fire, stone, sky, and new creature interaction ideas.
2027	ARK: Atlantis	Paid Expansion	A water-focused non-canonical map expanding on the ocean and sailing mechanics introduced in Tides of Fortune.
2027	Bob’s True Tales: Galaxy Wars + Genesis: Part 2	Paid DLC + ASA Map Remaster	A space-themed expansion, with star fighters, capital ships, planetoids, and a large outer-space biome.
2027	ARK: Legacy of Santiago	Paid Expansion / Standalone Expansion Series	A major new ARK storyline and gameplay direction, expected to bridge ASA and the future of the franchise.
2026 – 2027	Upgraded Legacy Maps	Free Map Updates	Studio Wildcard has said upgraded legacy maps are still planned, but Crystal Isles, Lost Island, and Fjordur do not currently have new confirmed release dates.

ARK Survival Ascended DLC Roadmap 2026

May 2026 – ARK World Creator

This is one of the more interesting ASA updates for players and server owners, as it should make custom worlds and player-created content easier to build directly within the ARK ecosystem.

June 2026 – Tides of Fortune & Genesis: Part 1

Bob’s True Tales: Tides of Fortune will release alongside the ASA version of Genesis: Part 1. This is a pirate and ocean-focused expansion with:

Sailing ships
Ocean gameplay
Semi-procedural islands
Fortresses
Large naval battles
A revamped Genesis: Part 1 experience
The new Tidepup creature

Community Crunch 504 revealed Tidepup, a new support-style creature coming with Tides of Fortune. It starts as a small companion that can sit on your shoulder, but it can grow into something much larger depending on how you raise and use it.

For regular ASA players, this looks like the biggest content drop of mid-2026.

Summer 2026 – Fantastic Tames: Season 1

The first creature confirmed for the pack is Burrowbuck, a ridable horned hare-style creature with a saddle. Two more creatures are expected to be revealed as part of the same pack.

2026 – ARK: Survival of the Fittest

This is being worked on by Studio Sirens and is described as a refreshed version of the competitive mode, with improved mechanics, matchmaking, and reward systems.

The release date is unconfirmed.

December 2026 – ARK: Dragontopia

This is a non-canonical ASA expansion with a mythical dragon-style theme. Studio Wildcard has described it as a world of fire, stone, and sky, with new ideas around taming and creature interactions.

ARK Survival Ascended DLC Roadmap 2027

The 2027 ASA release schedule is less exact, but several major pieces of DLC have already been announced.

ARK: Atlantis

This looks to build on the ocean systems from Tides of Fortune, with a stronger focus on underwater and water-based ARK gameplay.

Galaxy Wars and Genesis Part 2

Bob’s True Tales: Galaxy Wars is expected to arrive with Genesis Part 2.

This expansion is planned to take ASA into space, with star fighters, bombers, capital ships, planetoids, and a much larger space-focused version of Genesis Part 2.

ARK: Legacy of Santiago

This appears to be one of the biggest long-term ASA projects and is being positioned as a major step toward the future of ARK.

What About Crystal Isles, Lost Island and Fjordur?

Older roadmap information previously placed Fjordur in December 2026, but the newer 2026–2027 roadmap has shifted focus toward World Creator, Tides of Fortune, Dragontopia, Atlantis, Galaxy Wars, and Legacy of Santiago.

Studio Wildcard has still said upgraded legacy maps are planned throughout 2026 – 2027. Until specific maps are named, it is best to treat Crystal Isles, Lost Island, and Fjordur as TBC.
